I was at my Man. U. supporting brothers watching. They were so in the ascendancy that I couldn’t see them losing if it went to extra time. He was still celebrating the equaliser when Arsenal scored that 3rd. goal. Oh happy day!!!

One of the best finals. I was 8 and it’s one of my earliest football memories. I can just remember 1978, when Ipswich won it.

my dad is a curse, he first went to wembly in 76, when we got beat by that goal by stokes that was a mile offside, then in 77 there was a mix up with his ticket and he couldn’t go and we beat liverpool, then 2 years later in 79 he went up to this and alan sunderland pops up in the last minute!! he hasn’t been to wembly since!! haha
